AAPL Opposes NY Senate Bill's 20% Tax on Certain Real Property Transfers
A bill soon to be passed in the Senate (Democratic-controlled) will impose an additional 15% / 20% tax on buying and selling real estate over a one-year / two-year period. This is in addition to the recent severe restrictions on Rent Stabilized Properties.
