Will DFW's rapid growth turn the area into 90's Los Angeles?
Whether you like it or not, DFW size. And at a pace very reminiscent of the growth we saw in Los Angeles in the 70s and 80s. JLL, a global real estate investment firm with an impressive presence in North Texas, has come to the conclusion, after studying the area for the past five decades, that the growth nature of the metroplex is very similar to what happened in Los Angeles.
The trend reflects a boom in construction companies, which will continue to be busy building homes, businesses, roads, and other projects that will meet the demand of the metroflex. At the same time, this is a cause for concern among locals who feel the daily overcrowding, each year more than the one that preceded it. And not to mention house prices continue to rise at a steady pace, especially in the suburbs of Dallas and Fort Worth.
For us investors, remains to look for deals and hope that it will be so 🙂
