# Post 5 - Karma & Real Estate
I decided to share with you something a little different this time, which is not directly related to real estate but is an integral part of my life for many years and in doing so it also has an impact on my real estate world. Later in the post I will share some insights related to the business world in general and of course to the real estate world in particular.
It is a worldview that is based on the wisdom of the East, and gives tools for creating a better and more right future for us.
According to Tibetan Buddhism, everything we experience in our lives is a projection of our "karma". Surprisingly, contrary to popular belief, the meaning of karma is not fate or "writing." The literal meaning of karma in Sanskrit (the language in India during the Buddha period) is “action”! Strange, right? So it's not.
According to this worldview, everything we experience in our lives is a result of our own actions in the past and not of the environment, the family, the boss or the government. All the results in our lives are a direct result of actions we have taken in the past.
In every evil moment our consciousness acts like a video camera that "records" everything we speak, do or think. All of these are called "karmic seeds", which incubate in the mind and at some time in the future they will "germinate" and appear as a result of our lives.
The central principle is: everything we have done to others comes back to us, and not just comes back to us, but is doubled and amplified. If we were angry, they would be angry at us again and again, if we cheated, someday they would cheat us, if we gave money, we would get the money doubled and so on and so forth. Of course the description presented here is at the tip of the fork and requires more in-depth study to understand the wisdom and apply it in real life, but that is the principle.
So far it sounds simple and logical - give in order to receive. But in many cases it is difficult to know what the right seeds to sow to achieve a particular result. Sometimes the action required seems contrary to any common sense.
For example, what does one need to sow in order to advance in work or business? The initial thought would be to stand out above others, right? So it's not (not that it's bad but it will not necessarily lead to the desired result). If according to the karma theory the results I experience depend on what I have done to others, then in order to advance in the work I need to help colleagues advance, empower them and empower them. If I want to succeed in business, I need to help other businesses succeed, and even pardon competitors. In the consciousness of abundance there is room for everyone and endless resources, and as the competitors grow you too grow!
If you want them to pardon you, pardon others, in quantities (it doesn't even cost money). If you want to raise capital, make a regular contribution or help others raise capital. If you want good things to be said about you, speak from within (good words about others) and not divide (bad gossip about another person). It also means not to speak ill of a prime minister who may not be liked, yes ????. It also hurts your karma.
So if someone cheated on us or a contractor ran away from us in the middle of the renovation then yes (sit tight in the chair), this is the maturation of our karma, it has nothing to do with it. He, for his part, is not a good man or a bad man. He may have run into some difficulties and preferred the good of his family over us, or any other reason. And beyond that, there is an opportunity here to realize that I have a tendency to produce a certain karma and look for where I am a little deceiving, where I promise and not fulfill. There is an opportunity here to look at myself and some evil good and strong seeds so that in the future the results will be as I want! At higher levels of awareness you can also feel compassion for the one who "knocked" you (because he too may be in trouble, he also does not sleep well at night) and this produces some more good seeds.
If you manage to look at things that way, stop being angry at others (and certainly at ourselves) and move forward. Think how much that makes sense. If we get angry, our energy goes down and we are less productive. We stop sleeping well at night, and are less alert during the day. Think how much money we lost on this waste of energy. We could have closed a new deal at this time!
I recently learned that a deal in England, in which I had invested early in my career, had collapsed. The entrepreneur went bankrupt and I lost a large sum of money. My wife asked me how I was feeling and I told her I was sorry for the investment, and I learned an important lesson from her, but for me it is money that no longer belongs to me and I do not spend even another minute thinking about it, or angry at someone, or trying to sue him or be bothered by it. Just moving on. I do not have time to waste. All of these are sowing future negative karma and in addition there are skas waiting for me! Indeed, two weeks later we closed two great deals! Great karma, huh? ????
But the best and most correct action in this case, in terms of managing karma and sowing seeds for future success in transactions, is to find someone who can help him succeed in a transaction of a similar nature (real estate). If the karma of failure in transactions has matured for me, and according to the perception of karma what I do to others comes back to me, the "antidote" or correction will be to take action that will promote others to success.
More tips for business people like you to improve business success - be generous with people who help you in the process, make sure all your deals are worthwhile for all parties, think of creative ways to work with investors - for example donate a certain percentage of profit to charity or any other worthy cause, avoid divisive talk (open Awareness and whenever someone near you gossip exchanged the subject for good deeds about the other), persevered in close talk (bringing hearts together, praising people in front of others), acting honestly with authorities (the tax), and generally being honest with others, donated generously on a regular basis.
In conclusion, a simple way to create the habit of "sowing" good karma in life and business:
1. During the day, compliment / cheer for at least one person (face to face, on Facebook, zoom בז ????)
