2020s Happiest States in America
"Escape from California"?
The golden state is actually surprising in the American happiness index.
Florida is ranked at the bottom of the safest states, and the state also suffers from a particularly high divorce rate.
Many people complain about life in California and point to a variety of reasons - the relatively high level of taxation, the homeless housing crisis and more - but most of them continue to live there. Perhaps the reason for this is very simple: the golden state was ranked sixth in the US happiness index of the WalletHub site.
The authors of the study, which examined all 50 states in the United States, examined 32 key and relevant factors for this year (e.g., average income, level of unemployment, rate of coronavirus infection, and more).
At the top of the rankings is Hawaii with 69.58, followed by Utah with 69.42, third Minnesota with 65.87, New Jersey fourth with 64.1 while Maryland closes the top five with 61.78 points.
In a year in which "law and order" comes up for discussion in public discourse, the authors of the study examined the safest countries. Maine, Vermont, Minnesota, Utah and Wyoming were ranked in the top five, and at the bottom of the list are Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Arkansas and Texas.
