# Initiated week Post # 1 Hello to all the wonderful forum members. It's fun to be here and expand your knowledge and learn from each and every one of you. This week it was finally my turn to tell my story and share my knowledge??. I am Hadar, happily and happily married and mother of two lovely daughters. In the US for over 20 years, including moving between several countries due to her husband's work. It's already the second round in Atlanta and we currently live in Alpharetta (North Atlanta) and are happy to call it home. Real estate has been running in my family since I was born. Grandparents (who came to Israel after the Holocaust broke and destitute) really believed in real estate and grandfather who was a businessman founded a building materials and paints store with both hands and at the time he had almost no competition. He was an authorized distributor of Tambor paints and building materials. It was the period of the establishment of the state and they built buildings in every corner and the business prospered. He would go around construction sites, develop relationships with contractors, sell them materials and buy properties. There is no one who did not know him in the city and the surrounding area, and the family always had properties that were rented out and were a source of income. I came to the USA at the age of 20 and studied business and marketing management here and worked in several jobs as a marketing manager. Life was 9-5 with a salary coming in every two weeks, annoying bosses always on the head, terrible traffic jams (Atlanta) feeling that the promotion is too slow and finally a feeling of suffocation that you can't end like this! That I must become independent and realize the desire to do real estate and above all to do for myself and live a free life in which I set my own agenda and use my brain and my ideas to promote my interests and not someone else's. I would sit in the office, and at the same time plow through Zillow and fantasize. Talking to my mother and father who of course pushed and encouraged me to invest in real estate. Despite my lack of experience, concerns and fears, we found a small house on the prairie near us in Alpharetta in great condition from a pedantic guy who took care of it wonderfully. It was right before Christmas and the market was dead. (This is 2014... there were days) We were the only offer and bought for 10k less than he asked. The adrenaline is flowing and the deal is closed. In the following posts, I will of course continue to tell how I transformed from a renter to an independent, how I developed the business and what I believe in. In the pictures - me and the loves of my life - the family, the horses and the properties
