If I am interested (I am not a US citizen) I will open an llc company with an American citizen partner and my name will appear as one of the owners of the company.
Do I have to send my passport to Americanirs?
Or is the method simpler?

The only place (in most states) that appears in the llc is the opening agreement so that nothing changes your passport and the irs. They receive the details of the llc owners in the first report and until then you have to make sure that you have a tax identification number (ITIN)
