I'm in North Carolina and I called the authorities and it turns out the law requires an architect registered with the state to prepare the plans because it's a 'vanilla' area that has never had anything in it before.
Does the audience have an architect registered in North Carolina?

Question for the professionals in the group (GC, Construction, Architecture):
Retail space in an existing building that comes in a "box", the building plans themselves exist. I do not know for sure what the size of the entire building is - it is a 2-story front strip. The area in question is two thousand square feet on the second floor.
An architect asks 7 a thousand dollars to draw plans for air conditioning, electricity, building services and installation of water / sewage pipes inside the area.
Is this a reasonable price?
The general / external building plans are available and accessible.
Any insight is welcome

- The price is negotiable.
Depends on many variables….
1 What Interior Structure Requirements (How Many Apartments)
2 כנל regarding piping
And electricity
3 should take into account that you need it during the renovation to (lots of) questions and changes, so you should have good references to it

From my experience, I can say that it depends very much on which country you prices vary greatly from place to place, but it is more important to take a good architect and preferably from the same county to save people's pain. People sometimes save 500-1000 on the architect and leave the program very conservative, - Sounds very expensive. Was in Los Angeles, one of the most expensive countries in America, and I would have guessed it would cost 2-3 at most.
Do not recommend saving on plans, it is simply according to 2-3 from the market price. Take more quotes - The price of an architect ranges from $ 1 to $ 2 per square meter in most cases.
- If there is a permit, then any matter of work plans, can be done by any architect.
Because it is for implementation and not to be submitted to the municipality. - Shiri Amoray
- Are you paying for an initial feasibility study and how much?
- In my professional opinion this sounds too expensive.
Prices range from 2000-3000 $.
