The case of the sinking combo

Hello everyone,

I cross it with r / Ask_Lawyers to cover my bases. Three years ago my parents bought an apartment in the community of 55 +. The community is managed by a property management company, not the Kundu Society. If something goes wrong with the property, the management company takes care of it (for example, a defect in the plumbing system causes service backups several times a year, the management company sends a plumber to clean the pipes every few months until they make sure these backups do not occur).

My parents' apartment is one of six units built over a row of six garages. A year and a half ago, we began to notice that the living room floor was at a slight angle. Fast forward another year and a half, the floor sank significantly. It starts to cause all sorts of damage to the living room and bathroom as the floors and ceiling separate from the wall. The management company sent a contractor and determined that 1 (2) is an archiving support fund, which causes the floor to sink and its parents are responsible for its repair and for any damage caused to it.

My parents are in their 80s and they are not dealing with this problem at all. I'm going to take care of it for them (whether that means moving forward with the repairs or fighting the management company). I have never owned real estate, however, and am not sure how to move forward. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
